We are looking for a Full-Time, Permanent Design Consultant. The primary responsibilities involve assisting customers, including designers, architects, and builders, in selecting materials in the showroom.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Answer incoming showroom calls and provide customer service.
- Responds to all inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintains and nurtures existing client relationships.
- Assist in material selections.
- Maintain showroom appearance.
- Possess and maintain industry product knowledge.
- Cross-trained to assist in the customer service department when needed
- Performs other duties as assigned by the manager.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college, or six months to one year experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in order processing systems.
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Creative, flexible, and innovative team player
- Demonstrated ability to make successful presentations to individuals or groups at all levels of an organization
- Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills.
