About the role
The 2nd shift Production Supervisor is responsible for the execution of the production schedule for processing products to meet established product quality specifications and packaging requirements while ensuring compliance to safety, environmental and regulatory policies.
Shift/Working Hours: 3:30p to 2:30am Monday – Thursday.
Key responsibilities
- Shift review of production to ensure accuracy.
- Promote a team culture.
- Provide support and coach/mentor employees while trouble shooting deviations to mitigate future occurrence.
- Supports management with changes and assists where necessary.
- Ensure GMP standards for Food and People safety and Kerry Policies.
- Support the SQF Food Safety and Quality System by implementing and following procedures, taking part in GMP inspections, conducting and/or participating in internal audits and management reviews and participating in training.
- Lead time of production operatives including training, coaching, and developing the team.
- Assist with production planning.
- Demonstrated success in developing/implementing continuous improvement initiatives and accountability programs.
- Responsible for the scheduling and timekeeping of all production personnel.
- Flexible with Hours to support needs (15% may need to flex hours).
- Additional Duties as assigned.
Qualifications and skills
- A four-year degree preferred in food technology or business
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a food manufacturing plant or related industry.
- Leadership experience.
- Experience with SAP is preferred.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodology.
Compensation Data
The typical hiring range for this role is $62,906 to $92,755 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
