Summary
We are looking for an individual to provide administrative support to the Yacht Management department. They are responsible for documentation management and assisting with compliance audits of vessels in the fleet.
Responsibilities:
- Provide general support for Managers with regard to paperwork, documentation & organization of the department, and other administrative tasks
- Manage vessel documentation (creation, editing & auditing of critical vessel documentation)
- Perform software audits of vessels for compliance purposes, with support of Managers
- Process important forms & applications on behalf of vessels
- Maintain/update vessel information (vessel & crew details, insurance information, contact information etc)
- Manage & sort client mail/packages, including informing captains & crew of mail present in IYC’s office
- Ship documents & packages to vessels as required
Additional Responsibilities:
- Contribute to company and department tasks and special projects as assign
- Attendance at boat shows & industry events as required
Requirements:
- Experience in the yachting industry (crew or shore-based) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years in an Administrative role with experience supporting a team.
- Strong IT skills & office applications, Mac & Windows.
- Good command of English & written communication.
- Good attention to detail with regard to documents, forms, checklists, etc.
