As a Project Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting the project team in all aspects of construction project execution. You will assist in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the company’s quality standards. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination.
- Track project timelines and progress, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Review and process submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
- Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors regarding project details.
- Maintain project documentation and records.
- Support in budget management and cost control efforts.
- Assist in problem-solving during the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in construction or project management.
- Familiarity with construction documents, specifications, and building codes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
