About the Company - Algone Premier is seeking a Physical Therapist Lead to manage our physical therapy department at Algone Interventional Pain Practice. As the largest pain specialty group in Alaska, our mission is to help chronic and acute pain patients improve their pain and function through a customized plan of care tailored to the patient's individual needs. This includes interventional procedures, regenerative medicine, appropriate medication management, and physical therapy. Our physical therapy department plays a critical role in helping patients return to a more active lifestyle.
About the Role - Job Responsibilities Include:
- Developing individualized treatment plans based on each patient's specific needs, goals, and abilities
- Educating patients about their conditions and helping them develop exercise routines that can be continued at home
- Conducting assessments of patients' physical abilities and disabilities as well as musculoskeletal structure and function
- Conducting evaluations on patients' functional abilities to determine whether they are ready to begin therapy programs
- Developing treatment plans that include manual therapy, such as massages or joint manipulation, as well as modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation
- Performing therapeutic exercises to improve mobility and reduce pain in patients' muscles and joints
- Monitoring patients' progress during physical therapy sessions, adjusting as needed to ensure they are making progress toward their goals
- Supervising, training, and motivating other physical therapists' work performance to ensure high-quality services are provided to patients
Qualifications - Education and Experience Requirements:
- Degree in Physical Therapy
- 3+ years in a clinical setting
- Ability to direct a team of physical therapists while managing the demands of providing patient care
- Compassionate, excellent at physical therapy duties and working with patients
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to delegate administrative and care-related tasks as required
- Skilled at financial planning, budgeting, and staff management
- Able to lift 50lbs with some bending and squatting to assist patients
Pay range and compensation package - Pay Range - $90,000.00-$135,000.00/yearly Plus Bonus
