The Position
brightSTAR is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of construction projects. This role encompasses the full project lifecycle, from initial planning and budgeting to execution and closeout. You will be responsible for managing the setup of new manufactured homes, overseeing capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects, and contributing to the successful completion of development projects. This position demands a dynamic individual with exceptional technical, organizational, and communication skills, and a proven ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution:
- Develop comprehensive project plans encompassing scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risk assessment.
- Manage all phases of new manufactured home installations, including site preparation, home setup, utility connections, and final inspections/closeout.
- Oversee CAPEX projects, such as community upgrades, renovations, and infrastructure improvements.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of development projects, with a focus on construction management, timeline adherence, and budget control.
- Effectively manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
Communication & Collaboration:
- Foster strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across various departments (asset management, operations, accounting, sales & marketing).
- Collaborate effectively with external parties, including contractors, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Clearly and concisely communicate project updates, challenges, and successes to all stakeholders.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets, meticulously tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure projects are delivered within budget constraints.
Problem Solving & Decision Making:
- Proactively identify and resolve project challenges and roadblocks.
- Make informed decisions to keep projects on track and mitigate potential risks.
Continuous Improvement:
- Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
- Implement process improvements to enhance project delivery and efficiency.
Other:
- Perform other related tasks and responsibilities as necessary to support the team.

Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the construction or real estate industry overseeing construction projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record in construction project management, with experience in residential and/or commercial construction. Experience with manufactured housing and/or land development is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Self-sufficient with excellent follow-through and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, able to travel to project sites on a regular basis.
