We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Real Estate Attorney to join our dynamic team, covering Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

Responsibilities:

Provide legal counsel and representation for clients involved in real estate transactions, including both residential and commercial properties.
Review and draft contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to real estate.
Conduct title examinations and address any issues or discrepancies.
Oversee and facilitate real estate closings, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure efficient transaction processes.
Stay updated on real estate laws and regulations in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.
Represent the firm in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings as needed.
Maintain a high standard of professionalism and client service.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
At least 1 year of experience in real estate law, particularly in title insurance and transactions.
Strong understanding of state and federal real estate laws and regulations.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Proficient in legal research and relevant technology.
A book of business is a plus.
Licensed in Connecticut is a plus.
Experience in zoning and eviction is a plus.
