Award winning 50 year old Architectural Design firm in Lake Oswego, OR Fort Lauderdale, FL is looking an experienced residential draftsman with at least 2 years of experience creating construction documents and permit sets for single and multi family homes. Come join our team which has some very experienced designers and draftsman with 20 plus years designing and drawings homes and multi family projects.
A successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience with AutoCad and construction experience is always a great benefit. We work remotely as a team and you will be responsible to put together complete permit sets from preliminary cad drawings. The ability to be a self starter and follow a project through to completion is a must and there is a lot of room for growth for the right candidate.
The job will start out as a contract position, but could develop into a full time employee. Full time employees receive medical and dental insurance, 401k, paid holidays and vacations, sick pay as well as a host of other benefits.
We'd like to find someone in South Florida or the Northwest, but we're open to all candidates that have experience in light wood frame construction.
Compensation will be based on experience as well as past salary history.

Qualifications
2 plus years of Autocad experience drafting residential project, Microsoft Office, Strucalc is preferred but not required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a great asset for this position.
