Position: Maintenance & Engineering Manager - focussed on Maintenance, Tooling & Process Engineering.
Location: Greenville-Spartanburg, SC

The Engineering Manager oversees plant growth and performance by leading the Maintenance, Tooling,. Project Sourcing, Planning, Production Project Execution, and Improvement departments.
Responsibilities Include:
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Promote and enforce safety practices, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Drive continuous improvement programs and initiate corrective actions for non-conformances.
- Lead the technical department, overseeing plant maintenance, project sourcing, and execution.
- Collaborate with teams to coordinate technical activities and share best practices across departments.
- Manage plant maintenance and project budgets, ensuring efficiency and adherence to financial goals.
- Optimize production processes through equipment improvements and procedural innovations.
- Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including leadership teams, OEMs, and suppliers.
- Oversee technical advancements, ensuring new equipment and processes align with company objectives.
- Assist with food safety programs and contribute to the overall technical strategy of the plant.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or related field of study
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience in injection molding, secondary machines, and process optimization.
- Proven leadership in a results-driven team environment.
- High initiative, adaptability, and a proactive management style.
- 10+ years of progressive management experience, with at least 5 years in plastics manufacturing.
- Exposure to ISO and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., 6 Sigma).
