About the Facility - Santa Fe Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) This outpatient clinic provides care which includes Behavioral Health Care, Primary Care, Occupational Therapy, and Personal Care. They also provide Veterans with Telehealth, for access to health care that is timely, more convenient and easier to access through the use of new health care technology including video conferencing and health monitoring devices that can connect patients to their healthcare team. In addition to their main facility in Albuquerque, they offer services in 13 community-based clinics (CBOCS, such as this facility). Sister CBOC facilities are located in: Alamogordo, Artesia, Durango, Espanola, Farmington, Gallup, Las Vegas, Rio Rancho, Raton, Santa Fe, Silver City, Taos and Consequences.

RESPONSIBILITIES (listed are included but not limited to) - Services provided shall be performed in an ambulatory care setting at the Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC).
- Provider shall see patients for general medicine problems including performing the history and physical exam, making electronic progress notes, scheduling return visits, writing orders for lab and x-ray, prescribing medications, etc.
- Functioning as a primary care provider, the provider shall request as indicated, consultations from specialists and subspecialists in the WTVAHCS staff.
- Provider shall participate in quality management activities that pertain to his/her duties.
- In addition to the above clinical responsibilities, provider shall hold routine administrative duties.
- Shall participate in clinical conferences for staff and shall attend medical staff and service-level meetings.
- Services shall be performed in accordance with VA policies and procedures and the regulations of the medical staff bylaws of WTVAHCS.
- Provider shall enter all medical documentation in the Computerized Patient Records Systems (CPRS) and electronically sign all.
- Enter orders and prescriptions electronically using CPRS, as appropriate.
REQUIREMENTS - Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM).
- Must have current license to practice medicine in any state, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States of Columbia.
- Must have current certification in Basic Life Support at certified by the American Heart Association.
