We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Process Piping Project Manager to join our team at Control Air Enterprises LLC in Anaheim, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process piping, project management, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in delivering successful projects within budget, schedule, and quality parameters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple process piping projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements and timelines are met.
- Work with process piping fabrication team and detailing to oversee the design, fabrication, and installation of piping systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Work closely with 3rd party quality assurance team.
- Conduct regular project meetings, providing updates on project status, changes, and challenges.
- Monitor project performance, addressing issues proactively to minimize risk and ensure project success.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, customer standard operating procedures, weld certifications, turnover packages, change orders, RFIs, and other related documentation.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and promote a culture of safety on all job sites.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to project team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in process piping, project management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of piping materials, fabrication processes, and installation techniques.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Experience in managing large-scale industrial, petrochemical, or pharmaceutical projects is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- PMP Certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API).
