Links Technology is currently seeking a motivated and skilled IT Project Manager to join our pharmaceutical client's team in Tarrytown, NY. Our client is a leader in the pharmaceutical industry. This is a long-term contract role offering the opportunity to work onsite with a cutting-edge team and contribute to critical projects.
Responsibilities of the IT Project Manager:
- Lead and manage IT projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and scope.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and communication strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project deliverables, and ensure successful project execution.
- Track project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and resolve issues effectively.
- Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders.
Qualifications of the IT Project Manager:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT project management.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).
- Familiarity with GxP guidelines and scientific writing (reports, regulatory submission documents).
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through.
- High emotional intelligence with strong communication and relationship management skills.
