Purpose of Position:
The Security Operations Center Agent monitors all locations to support store operations, deter loss, identify shrink opportunities, address alarm events, and provide for physical security and safety awareness.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serves as first contact LP support to store leadership for matters related to LP
- Assess, prioritize, and respond to incoming calls (theft, incidents, alarms)
- Appropriately leverage store personnel to mitigate active malicious behavior and prevent loss
- Develop and conduct investigations leveraging all available business resources
- Report incidents of loss to appropriate law enforcement agencies
- Maintain detailed records of daily activities by location, activity type, and outcome
- Actively engage in ongoing forensic video review to identify deviation from expectations related to shrink (internal, external, process)
- Conducts structured remote audits within assigned areas to support and enhance store operations
- All other duties as assigned

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to provide direction and make sound decisions in elevated stress situations
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to deal with conflict in a professional manner
- Knowledge of closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems and Microsoft Office
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1-year Asset Protection (or related field) experience preferred
