Position: Commercial Construction Estimator
Location: South Carolina
Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 (Depending on experience)
We are currently representing a well-established and growing commercial general contractor in South Carolina that is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their dynamic team. This company has built a strong reputation for delivering projects across a diverse set of sectors, including multi-family, education, retail, and high-rise residential developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for a variety of commercial construction projects.
- Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, project specifications, and scope of work.
- Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure budget and time constraints are met.
- Perform quantity take-offs and analysis of construction documents.
- Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers for pricing and scope clarifications.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as an estimator in commercial construction, preferably with exposure to multi-family, education, retail, or high-rise residential sectors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with internal teams.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software.
