We are currently seeking dedicated Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physicians for an exciting locum tenens opportunity. This position is ideal for board-certified/board-eligible Pediatric Fellowship-trained Emergency Medicine Physicians or Residency-trained Pediatricians with experience in high-volume emergency departments. Position Overview:
- Position Type: Locum Tenens
- Duration: 3 months, with potential for ongoing extensions
- Annual ED Volume: 46,000+ visits
- Coverage:
- 45 hours/day of physician coverage
- 52 hours/day of Advanced Practice Provider (APP) coverage
- Facility Features:
- 40 private ED rooms
- First sensory-friendly Pediatric ED in the region
Qualifications:
- Board Certification/Eligibility:
- Pediatric Fellowship-trained Emergency Medicine Physicians
- Residency-trained Pediatricians with high-volume ED experience
- Licensure:
- Current and unrestricted medical license in the state of Texas
- Status:
- Independent Contractor (1099)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality emergency care to pediatric patients in a busy, high-volume emergency department
- Collaborate with a team of physicians, APPs, and medical staff to ensure seamless patient care
- Manage a wide range of acute pediatric cases with expertise and precision
- Utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and treatment protocols in a modern and well-equipped facility
- Maintain clear and timely communication with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
