As a Technical Operations Supervisor, your responsibilities will include management and coordination of personnel and activities, including technical documentation, Monitoring and updating Redzone Software, and product commercialization activities. Works collaboratively with Sales, Customer service, Operations, R&D, Procurement and Quality to achieve all business objectives.

- Communicates departmental priorities, coaches and inspires direct reports, and addresses performance issues
- Maintains high level of technical knowledge, trains and develops subordinates to acquire additional skills and responsibilities thru empowerment, delegation, and follow thru
- Creates production code, monitor production rate and set production parameters for each product at RedZone.
- Supports production and provide RedZone training for production and BF staff
- Provides production reports, OEE data analysis using RedZone
- Coordinates direct reports to complete all aspects of day-to-day operations, including, but not limited to: Creating batch records, deviations, BOMs and any production related documents.
- Oversees workflow of technical documentation relevant to product commercialization, including, but not limited to: Master Batch Records, Bills of Materials, Standard Operating Procedures, Job Instructions, Raw Material Specification, Finished Product Specifications, Verification protocols, Bulk labels, Customer product labels, Customer forms, DSHEA or NLEA-compliant labels, etc.
- Oversees existing processes, looks for improvement opportunities, develops and implements new process workflows, updates and automates templates to improve efficiency of product commercialization process.
- Provides internal customer service and manages communication with Quality, Customer Service, Sales, Procurement and other departments with the Technical Services organization
- Follow established department SOP's, cGMP regulations, and batch record instructions.
- Complies with all Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.
- Maintains a safe work environment and operates in a safe manner.
- Perform other related job duties related to the job, as assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Associate degree in computer science, data analysis or Industrial engineering
- Bachelor Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical/Food Science, Industrial Engineering or related field from an accredited college/university
- Five (5) or more years of work experience in nutraceutical industry; or
- Any combination of experience, education, and training that provides the level of knowledge, skills, and experience needed to successfully perform the job.
- RedZone experience is a strong plus
Work Environment:
- Communicates orally with management, employees, co-workers, vendors, suppliers, governmental compliance agencies, and the general public by telephone or in person, in one-on-one or group settings.
- Regularly uses a telephone, computer (e-mail) and fax for communication.
- Required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time during the course of work shift.
- Routinely required to stoop, bend, kneel, lift, and reach, in the performance of job function.
- Requires the essential use of hands, speech, eyesight, and hearing.
- Requires agility to operate multiple telephone lines with the use of hands and head-set.
- Lifting limitations for this position: 25-30 lbs. May have to manipulate heavier containers.
- Vision requirements include close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral and depth vision, and the ability to adjust focus as needed.
- Requires incumbent to sit and operate computer for extended periods of time during course of work day, and the ability to proficiently use the computer key-board for typing.
- Noise levels for most work environments can range from low to moderate. Some work areas require hearing protection for an 8-hour workday.
- Periods of odoriferous environment.
- Work may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. Personal Protective Equipment provided as necessary.
- Work environment may involve exposure to chemicals, solutions, detergents, or solvents that require following extensive safety precautions and may include the use of personal protective equipment.

Base salary range: $66,560.00 - $74,000.00, based on candidate experience level. Employees are eligible to participate in Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k), Holidays, Vacation, Tuition Reimbursement Program.
The final salary offered for this position may take into account a number of factors including, but not limited to, location, skills, education, and experience.
