We are seeking a Senior Project Manager Contractor to join our team, overseeing our pharmaceutical client's Engineering CQV initiatives for the Americas. This role involves managing capital projects with budgets ranging from $5 million to $10 million, supporting Research Labs, Cold Storage, and Clinical R&D environments, with a focus on pilot sites and manufacturing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Direct and manage CQV projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with client goals and timelines.
- Team Management: Lead a multidisciplinary team of 5-20 professionals, providing mentorship and strategic direction.
- Coordination and Planning: Organize project meetings, develop schedules, and allocate resources to maximize project efficiency.
- Quality and Compliance: Collaborate with internal Quality and Technical Operations teams to ensure adherence to SOPs and quality standards.
- Progress Reporting: Prepare and deliver presentations on project status, milestones, and completion to senior management.
- Facility Readiness: Oversee CQV activities for new facilities, including Laboratories, Cold Storage, and Chemical R&D spaces.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 5-10 + years extensive project management experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector. Prior experience with this client on similar projects is preferred.
- Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a significant advantage.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and planning abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in developing and following project plans and methodologies.
- In-depth knowledge of SOPs and quality management systems.
- Ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- Project Duration: The role is a contract position expected to last 2-3 years.
- Work Environment: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote each week.
