Role Description:
MAS is a global manufacturing and textiles manufacturer that provides concept-to-delivery solutions for leading apparel brands. This North Carolina based Merchandising role will be responsible for category level growth strategies for key customers within our core categories in apparel across multiple accounts and channels. MAS Acme is committed to world class supplier partnership and evolving the go to market process to improve the end-to-end fashion supply chain.
The Merchant is accountable for leading and aligning the cross-functional teams to deliver on product development priorities that meet the needs of our sales organization and align to financial growth deliverables.

Qualifications
Essential
· 8+ years merchandising experience on the supplier or brand side.
· Proficient in Excel, and PowerPoint
· Experience running assortment analytics with internal and external data sources and point-of-sale data.
· Understanding of Retail Math fundamentals.
· Comfortable presenting in various settings among both internal and external groups
· Ability to thrive in a fast paced and evolving culture and entrepreneurial environment
· Experience informing and building new process roadmaps and driving alignment across multiple teams
· Broad range and agility to stretch across various roles as the business grows and scales
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
Optional
· Knowledge of women’s intimates/innerwear, activewear, and/or hosiery
· Project management experience
Special Working Conditions & Environment
The employee must travel domestically and internationally in support of this function.
Essential Functions
· At least 3 days required in office subject to change to up to 5.
· Ability to travel domestically 4-6 times per year for customer meetings and market research.
· Frequently move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, meeting rooms, etc. Occasionally move about warehousing facilities, racking systems and narrow spaces
· Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
· The person in this position frequently communicates with external and internal parties to manage excellent relationships with business partners. Therefore, must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
· Must be able to effectively communicate ideas through office productivity equipment, such as a telephone, computer, calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
· Must be able to lift 15 pounds.
· Must be able to travel between locations to accomplish requirements of the position.
· Must be able to travel by public conveyance including aircraft to accomplish requirements of the position.
