The Analyst plays a critical role in the successful completion of Finance projects and initiatives. The associate is responsible for data analysis, planning, implementation and management of the project to ensure it is on schedule and achieves set goals. The associate works closely with various cross-functional teams including WFC/SFS Finance departments, FP&A, Tech, Procurement and other Divisions.
Essential Job Functions
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Work with technical and operational teams to understand the financial information requirements to optimize the process and enhance reporting.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather the necessary information, troubleshoot data, perform data analytics and deliver reports, as applicable.
- Create financial operational requirements documentation, milestone mapping, prioritization and communication to facilitate project collaboration and executive readouts.
- Create thorough financial operational specs, data transformation and efficiency, and project plans to enable transformation.
- Contribute and implement various data transformation initiatives including recommending and implementing process improvements for existing business process flows and systems.
- Document project status and rapidly identify issues / risks.
- Design and implement business changes that drive transformation, functionality and performance.
- Succinctly communicate issues to relevant stakeholders and proactively collaborate to ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in system testing and training for the finance staff on new processes.
- Support the development of finance dashboards and reporting, and automation.
- Assists with any other projects related to the department.
Qualifications and Essential Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science or relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Oracle, SAP or another financial system.
- An associate with a drive to operate in a high-growth, fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
- Strong experience in financial operational accounting and data analytic.
- The ideal candidate should have engineering and data analytical skills besides excellent attention to detail, passionate about enabling the financial close process with data efficiency and transformation.
- Proven track record of supporting simultaneous multiple data needs while meeting department deadlines.
- Utilizing a higher-level understanding of methodological concepts, coaches teammates in preparing deliverables utilizing tools like PowerPoint, Excel, Access, MS Project and Visio, designing key deliverables for projects and supporting other team members.
- Experience working through ambiguity to communicate clear finance positions and operational solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Additional experience considered a plus
- Experience in implementing SAP S/4 HANA preferred.

- Ability to work a hybrid schedule as established by the division (4 days on-site, 1 day remote).
