Job Title: Civil Engineering Technician – Land Development

We are currently partnered with a leader in civil engineering for over 36 years, who is seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Technician to join their talented staff in delivering high-quality solutions for land development, municipal, public works, and transportation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of civil engineering designs and plans for land development and public works projects
- Work closely with engineers and surveyors to produce detailed construction documents, including grading, drainage, utility, and site layout plans
- Perform field investigations, collect data, and prepare technical reports to support design projects
- Utilize Civil3D and AutoCAD for drafting and design work
- Ensure projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations
- Support project teams from the conceptual stage through final construction
Qualifications:
- 2-10 years of experience working as a Civil Engineering Technician on land development or similar projects
- Proficiency in Civil3D and AutoCAD is required
- Experience with GIS and surveying technology is a plus
- Strong understanding of civil site development, utility design, and construction documentation
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
