This is a full-time position that operates on a hybrid work schedule. Candidates must be available to come into the office at the Baltimore headquarters from Monday to Wednesday.
We are looking for an entrepreneurial, results-driven SEO Specialist that will own search engine optimization programs for clients and be accountable for driving key SEO KPIs for those clients (including but not limited to: SERP visibility, organic traffic volume and organic conversions/conversion rate). This individual will also be responsible for owning internal SEO processes and working cross-functionally to ensure alignment across creative, UI/UX, development and digital marketing teams.
Exceptional communication skills, incredible attention to detail, a boundless desire to learn and a “can-do” attitude are essential for success in this role.
Candidate Skills/Requirements
- Superior analytical & communications skills – must be able to understand complex problems and articulate logical, defensible solutions
- Ability to nimbly and positively react to tight deadlines and changing priorities
- Passion for SEO trends, emerging technology, and strategy development to drive success for our clients
- Skilled using SEO tools such as: Moz, AHRefs, SEMrush, Yoast, SpyFu, Google Search Console, and other SEM/SEO tools
- Adept at researching keywords with the correct searcher intent for clients
- Experienced content planner and writer
- Capable of making informed conclusions and decisions based on campaign performance to direct internal recommendations and key stakeholder communications
- Experience in both B2C and B2B services
- Passion for data analytics and experience performing in-depth audience and competitor research to inform and formulate a robust digital marketing strategy
- Develop success metrics and measure/analyze campaign results in order to demonstrate success
Nice to Have Experience
- Technical know-how of SEO related website development: schema, core web vitals, etc.
- Experience with website tracking implementations utilizing Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Looker Studio
- Experience working on an open-source CMS (WordPress)
- Experience with email marketing (Constant Contact, Listrak, Marketo, HubSpot, MailChimp)
- Meta Advertising, Adobe Analytics, Google Ads and/or Google Analytics certification(s) are a major plus
