As a Senior Fluidics Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of fluids-based engineering solutions that focus on fluid-based systems. You will drive collaboration with cross-functional teams, leverage technical strategy and best practices, and lead the successful execution of projects. In this role, you will further develop technical subject-matter expertise while contributing significantly to MFT’s growth and innovation.
What You’ll Do
- Actively lead and / or participate as part of a design team in successful delivery of New Product Development, Continuous Improvement or Feature Innovation projects for fluidics technology and applications.
- Lead or support project plan development including scope, schedule, and resource allocation in support of enterprise priority goals and objectives.
- Apply engineering theory of fluidics to real world applications in the delivery of products to our customers.
- Drive the use of methodologies like Concept Selection, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, and Design Validation Plans with a focus on developing fluidic systems for our products
- Participate in design process, testing, and reviews for fluidics subsystems across all product lines as a functional expert
- Lead 8D activities to identify root cause of issues and oversee development/implementation of a corrective action plan
- Utilize mathematical and computer-based engineering analyses to design innovative and reliable solutions for fluidics systems, carbonation, pumping, valving, flow control, and other processes.
- Develop technical drawings, models, and specifications using engineering software and tools
- Conduct testing, collect and analyze data, and interpret test results to evaluate the performance, reliability, and safety of engineering solutions
- Identify areas for improvement, troubleshoot technical issues, and propose and implement design modifications of existing product lines
- Lead collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, project managers, and stakeholders, to ensure project goals are met
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements, industry trends, and technological innovations in fluid transport, storage, cooling, mixing, dispensing, valving, and pressurized system design
- Actively participate in continuous learning and professional development activities, including attending training programs, workshops, and conferences.

Skills/Experience We’re Looking For
- Strong knowledge and understanding of engineering principles, theory, modeling, and concept application as they relate to fluid systems.
- Knowledge of 8D or DMAIC problem solving principles and application.
- Knowledge of design for manufacturing, automation, assembly, and serviceability.
- Proficiency in CAD software or other engineering tools and applications.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to convey technical information clearly.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master's in Engineering or a related field
- 10+ years of relevant experience in an engineering role
