Responsibilities:
- Asset Management: Oversee the operations, maintenance, and monitoring of the company's assets to ensure safety, performance, and reliability.
- Performance Optimization: Conduct asset management activities to enhance generation efficiency and revenue. Implement proactive maintenance and technical analysis.
- Reporting: Meet all internal and external reporting deadlines for operational assets.
- Evaluation: Assess asset performance, address revenue-increasing actions, and supervise direct reports.
- Training & Improvement: Foster corporate knowledge of solar generation through training and process enhancements.
- Contract Management: Enforce warranties and contractual obligations, evaluate manufacturer performance, and track operational metrics.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate site abnormalities, determine root causes, and implement corrective measures.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance the operational effectiveness of the company's assets.
- Stakeholder Communication: Manage all warranty and contract communications with customers, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
- Safety Culture: Promote a safety-focused environment, aiming to reduce incidents and enhance overall team culture.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Over seven (7) years of experience in asset management or operations/maintenance within solar power plants.
- Extensive background in operations or financial management, including contract administration.
- Self-motivated individual capable of independently handling projects, data analysis, and key deliverables.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior management.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in advanced computer skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
- Willingness to travel (approximately 10%).
Desired Attributes:
- At least three (3) years of supervisory experience with engineering, operations, and technical staff.
- Familiarity with enterprise-level software and hardware systems for remote data acquisition and control in solar power facilities, including maintenance management systems and data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety program management relevant to power generation facilities.
