Estimator Opportunity – California
AGS Associates is partnering with a nationally recognized leader in water/wastewater infrastructure throughout California. With decades of sustainable relationships with high-profile clients, this company is known for stability and growth. They are now seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive and accurate cost estimates for projects involving storm, sewer, drain, water, treatment plant other heavy civil construction activities.
- Analyze project drawings, specifications, and related documents to determine scope and requirements.
- Perform quantity take-offs and develop cost evaluations based on project plans and site conditions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to refine bids and ensure competitive pricing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in estimating within the heavy civil construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software such as HCSS, Heavy Bid, or similar tools.
