Consultant – Oracle Cloud Financials
As an Oracle Cloud Financials Consultant, you will take the lead in implementing Oracle Cloud Financials capabilities—General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Cash Management, and Assets—to address finance requirements and provide innovative solutions. You’ll collaborate across product, business, and technology teams to deliver value and ensure alignment on business objectives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex problems and is passionate about making an impact through cutting-edge financial technologies.
Responsibilities
- Expert in gathering, prioritizing, and documenting requirements, ensuring traceability and conducting fit/gap assessments.
- Translate business requirements into Oracle Cloud Financials solutions that are both practical and scalable.
- Lead configurations, iterative testing, troubleshooting, and provide end-user support to ensure seamless operation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Business, IT stakeholders) to assess solution options, impacts, and enhancements that align with business objectives.
- Develop and deliver reports that meet business requirements.
- Present detailed product specifications in a way that is easily understood by technical and managed service partners.
- Evaluate the impact of patches and upgrades, clearly communicating their significance to the user community.
- Define project scope and estimates, prioritize delivery based on resource availability, and sequence tasks effectively.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including Business Requirements Documentation (BRDs), Functional Specifications, project plans, and quality tracking.
- Contribute to release management planning, ensuring smooth deployment and communication across teams.
- Advise on product roadmaps and help align cross-functional team objectives.
- Assist in developing and rolling out training materials for users.
- Deliver exceptional support and ensure satisfaction within the user community.
Requirements
- 3+ years of expertise in Oracle Cloud Financials (General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Cash Management, and Assets). Oracle certification preferred.
- 5+ years of experience with Oracle EBS Financials applications.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects, delivering high-quality results on time while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Strong communicator with excellent problem-solving, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Outstanding documentation capabilities.
- Ability to resolve minor conflicts independently, with a keen ability to tactfully escalate when necessary.
- A forward-thinking mindset with a passion for applying innovative approaches to achieve business goals and deliver value.
- Team player and collaborator, skilled at working across multiple locations and countries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or relevant experience equivalency.
