Great opportunity for an experienced Litigation Attorney to join a white collar defense boutique firm in Boston on a direct hire basis. This role does anticipate a hybrid schedule but will be required to work in the office in Boston four days per week. This position will allow an associate to engage in all aspects of the litigation process from start to finish, including regular court and trial appearances, to work directly with clients, and to collaborate with a team on a variety of matters. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Responsible for day-to-day tasks as well as the strategic process of case management.
- Manage cases from inception through discovery and trial preparation.
- Attend depositions, settlement conferences, and other hearings.
- Prepare motions, discovery responses, and client reports.
- Assist in trial preparation including strategy, discovery, records review, client interview, and witness preparation.
Qualifications:
- 4 - 10 years of strong litigation experience
- Admitted and in good standing in Massachusetts or eligible for reciprocity in Massachusetts
- Experience in all stages of litigation, including investigation, pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial preparation
- Trial experience is a plus but not required, as long as the candidate has trial preparation experience
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- A commitment to client service
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
