A regional law firm with offices throughout the South East specializing in commercial litigation and construction law is seeking a mid-level litigation associate with at least three years of experienceto join the construction litigation team. The firm frequently litigates and arbitrates "bet the business" cases and has represented Fortune 500 companies as well as large and mid-sized commercial and industrial contractors.
The ideal candidate will have experience handling litigation cases. However, constuction litigation experience will be favorable. Ideally, the candidate will be comfortable drafting and arguing complex motions, taking depositions, preparing discovery, and trying cases. The candidate will work well under pressure and will have the ability to meet strict deadlines. The candidate must have solid legal writing skills, should be able to work with limited supervision, and work with other associates.
