About the Role
The Employee Benefits Operations Manager requires a strong leadership background with demonstrated experience in insurance agency operations and client service delivery. Working for a terrific insurance agency with large scale operations in the Florida market, your goal is to plant seeds of collaboration with sales and shared services to provide an exceptional client service experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
While you will still be intimately familiar with key accounts, the majority of your responsibilities center on client service leadership and department functionality.
Personnel Leadership- Foster a culture and environment of personal and professional development within the account management team. Direct reports consist of support staff, account managers, and team leaders.
Service Delivery- Establish formal procedures and agency standards. Collaborate with sales and shared services, making improvements as needed in all stages of benefits administration. Process efficiency and service quality are the most important standards when considering adjustments to everything from new client onboarding and renewal workflows to compliance, communication, benefits technology, and automation.
Systems Oversight- Bring automation and reporting into alignment with efficiencies and consistent workflows across multiple offices. Analyze benefits data, prepare reports, and provide insights related to employee benefits market trends.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree, plus 10+ years of progressive employee benefits leadership experience
- State Life and Health license required
- Additional professional designations a plus
- Ability and willingness to travel for meetings, conferences, or other business-related functions
Compensation, Benefits, & Perks
$115-140,000 + bonus + hybrid work schedule
