Client Data Steward
Brooksource is hiring an experienced Client Data Steward to join our fortune 12 Health Insurance client. In this role, you will partner with business, technical, and regulatory stakeholders to ensure the implementation of industry and business data standards for healthcare payer client data operations. You will lead cross-organizational efforts to ensure data is fit for organizational use, driving improvements in data quality and governance.
Top Skills and Ideal Candidate Background:
- 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, and Data Quality practices
- Strong knowledge of healthcare payer data products and client data standards
- Proficiency in data analysis and governance tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate and engage stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management skills is a plus
Day to Day:
- Collaborate with enterprise and business data stewards to align data standards and share best practices
- Document, define, and manage data standards and assets, including Critical Data Elements (CDEs) and business rules
- Assess and monitor data quality metrics, analyze trends, and promote remediation efforts
- Define metrics to gauge the health and quality of data across enterprise systems
- Identify and recommend business process improvements for efficiency
- Provide consultative stewardship services for delivery and issue resolution teams
- Engage with business owners to ensure the efficient flow of data and adherence to data governance practices
