About the Role
HYRD Recruitment have been retained to seek a highly experienced Senior Project Manager for a leading Civil Engineering contractor. In this role, you will manage large-scale infrastructure projects from planning through to successful delivery. You will oversee project teams, ensure project milestones are met, and manage client relationships. This position requires someone with strong leadership abilities, a deep understanding of civil engineering, and the ability to manage complex projects within scope, budget, and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Project Oversight: Manage all phases of civil engineering projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
Risk & Contract Management: Oversee contracts, identify risks, and resolve disputes or claims effectively.
Financial Control: Manage project budgets, approve expenditures, and implement cost control measures.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project.
Key Requirements
Experience: 8+ years of project management experience in civil engineering or construction.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Proven experience managing large civil projects ($100M+), including infrastructure.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
