Job Title: Skilled Assessor
JOB PURPOSE:
To assess the technical abilities and knowledge of potential TMMAL employees applying for various technician openings.
DUTIES:*
- Administers technical test focused on the disciplines of Electrical, Mechanical, and Pneumatics/Hydraulics.
- Evaluates and reports candidate’s performance according to set standards and rating scales.
- Prepares equipment and documentation prior to assessment.
- Identifies and communicates equipment needs accordingly.
- Behaves in a safety minded manner.
- Attends assessor meetings as necessary.
- Enters test scores into computer.
- Creates/maintains files of tested applicants in appropriate categories.
- Assists in scheduling testing.

MINIMUM AND PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, 2-year technical degree or at least 3 years’ experience in related field.
- Familiarity with computers and Microsoft applications.
- Willing to sign a confidentiality agreement.
- Willing to conduct assessments at the designated Assessment Center in the Huntsville location.
