Job Title: BIM/Revit Modeler (Electrical) – Sterling, VA | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent (6 months)

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate modeling efforts with junior team members to ensure project deliverables are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Set up Revit views and manage electronic document filing for the MPS Project Team.
- Create and manage Revit work sets and understand the Revit work-sharing process.
- Input marked-up drawings into Revit, including minor mark-ups and adjustments.
- Collaborate with other trades to ensure accurate 3D coordination of electrical systems.
- Conduct quality checks of your work before passing it on for further review.
- Prepare and manage document sets for transmittal to other parties and download project files from SharePoint or other online platforms.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a BIM/Revit Modeler with a focus on electrical systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical symbols, drafting conventions, and standards.
- Advanced proficiency with Revit and experience in creating and manipulating Revit families, views, schedules, and filters.
- Experience with Autodesk Navisworks, Autodesk Design Review, and knowledge of 3D layout and design.
- U.S. citizenship or Green Card holder (no sponsorships available).
- A stable job history with good computer skills and the ability to work independently and within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical school education or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Experience with MS Word and Excel for reporting and documentation.
