Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Partner with Department Managers to address and resolve issues.
- Respond to employee inquiries and concerns, assisting in issue resolution.
- Manage payroll processing for location employees.
- Conduct investigations and implement employee discipline when necessary.
- Track employee attendance, FMLA, and Work Comp issues, and communicate updates to Managers.
- Handle the entire recruitment process, including job postings, candidate interviews, resume and application screening, background and employment checks, and extending job offers.
- Develop and maintain job descriptions for all plant personnel.
- Lead new hire orientations and ensure adherence to employment laws, policies, and practices.
- Manage employee benefit enrollments and respond to benefit-related questions. Assist with annual open enrollment for all employees.
- Handle all aspects of employee terminations, including preparing unemployment claim documentation.
- Audit daily time and attendance records using Kronos for production employees, process payroll, and create reports from Kronos and ADP.
- Participate in compliance-related special projects.
- Suggest improvements for HR practices and employee relations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 3 plus years HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing setting;
- Experience with payroll, recruiting, employee discipline/investigations;
- Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the company;
- Able to make independent decisions and the ability to set priorities for the best interest of the organization.
- Advanced knowledge/skills of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint preferred.
- Payroll software experience required.
- SAP, Kronos, or other ERP software experience preferred.
Additional Info:
- Pay range: $60k-$80k DOE + yearly bonus program
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (with some flexibility)
- Location: 100% in office in West Bend, WI
