Racks Billiards and Bar is a Top Rated Pool Room with a full kitchen that continues to grow daily. We are more than a team or just co-workers, we are a family and part of a big community in the pool world. We are a little over 6 years in business, we are one of the best, if not the best pool room (based on our guests opinion) in CT. We have won awards from the Hartford Courant, Restaurant Guru, and are know all over New England. We have 18 highly maintained pool tables, a full bar, and a full kitchen that keeps growing.
We are looking for a 2 year, minimum, experienced cook with full understanding of time and temperature specifications. Knows how to use a fryer, small oven, and griddle. Can work with others and adjust to speed variable conditions. Wants to create new menu items and have opportunity to expand kitchen through continued growth of food orders. Other responsibilities is keeping the kitchen and kitchen equipment clean and sanitary based on given health code guidelines. Cleaning dishes when necessary as well as helping with closing responsibilities.'
