We are a busy firm and currently looking to add new team members to our Davis office. Currently, we have roles available at all levels from entry level drafting/design through experienced project managers. Project Managers are fully responsible for independently managing architectural projects from schematic design through construction administration, including managing work performed by junior staff and adhering to project scope, fee and budget constraints. This position will be responsible for multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Apply diverse knowledge of architectural principles across a broad array of assignments, independently applying sound architectural methods and techniques even with complex situations
- Independently plan, direct, and supervise all architectural aspects of projects from kick-off, design, document production, RFI/submittals, construction admin and close out.
- Develop fee proposals and adhere to project budgeting and billing
- Oversee the Revit model, delegate document requirements, and lead project design
- Oversee communication and coordination with all external project members, fully understanding how external pieces fit within the project and impact schedule and requirements
- Provide mentorship & training to junior staff and manage workload amongst project teams
- Ensure client satisfaction with project scope, schedule, budget and results
- Assist with marketing
Qualifications
- 8+ years experience
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or equivalent education
- Preferred licensed architect with significant experience in project management
- Proficient skills with Revit, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office
- Proficient skills with various software programs (Sketchup, Creative Cloud, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project)
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities; demonstrated ability to foresee and address issues proactively
- Adept at managing multiple external and internal project deliverables
- In-depth knowledge of building codes, materials, and construction processes
- Full understanding of company standards, project fees, and budget management
Compensation
This position is considered exempt and will be paid a base salary dependent upon skill & experience. Discretionary bonuses are also available depending on firm profitability and individual performance.
