As one of the fastest-growing warehousing and logistics companies in North America, we are looking for an experienced QUALITY TECHNICIAN. You will be responsible for the following:
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintaining quality-assurance processes, testing products, and recording and analyzing results data during product development and manufacturing.
- Quality Technician with Hexagon (or FARO Arm) 3D Laser Scanning knowledge.
- Following through on set processes and ensuring adherence to best production practices.
- Ensuring adherence to product quality standards, as well as monitoring the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of product output.
- Perform Internal Audits of Processes.
- Perform Layered Audits.
- Involved in Multi-disciplinary Five Phase Problem-Solving Teams that directly drive the company's Continuous Improvement Process and Policies
- Develop a strong knowledge of customer processes so that any variance from such can be utilized in root cause analysis of any issue that may potentially be charged to CLI.
- Know commodity locations, material flow, and window times.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma is required.
- A minimum of two years' experience within a quality (support) role.
- Knowledge of Atlas Copco, Ingersoll Rand, or Stanley Torque Tools. Should be knowledgeable in the programming of the tool.
- Basic math skills are required.
- Familiarity with Pareto Charts, Pie Charts, and Scatter Diagrams is a plus.
- Knowledge of Quality Control functions in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Automotive, manufacturing, and/or 3PL experience is preferred, or other Warehousing/Distribution experience.
- Responsible for on-the-job training.
