Work Schedule: Fixed schedule supporting our users during normal business hours (6:30 am - 4:30 pm or 7:00 am - 5:00 pm). We work a 4x10s schedule (Monday - Thursday).

Job Description:
We are looking for an individual with strong technical skills in Oracle Forms and Reports and leadership aptitude. As a member of the IT Development team, you will be involved in design and development, working closely with senior developers to translate user stories into functional code. You will also be responsible for identifying the impact on downstream systems, coordinating with peer developers, and managing development activities across multiple test environments.
Responsibilities:
- Enhance, maintain, and administer legacy applications based on Oracle Forms and Reports
- Translate use case requirements, technical specifications, and design into code
- Develop estimates for design and implementation efforts
- Prototype functionality for internal and Product Owner review
- Follow software development methodology and adhere to architecture standards
- Participate in design, code, and test inspections to identify and resolve issues/defects
- Perform peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Conduct manual and automated unit testing
- Gain a strong understanding of system requirements and application support needs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- 5+ years of experience with Oracle Forms and SQL
- Strong expertise in PL/SQL (packages, procedures, functions, triggers)
- Experience with XML creation and parsing using PL/SQL
- Proficient with relational databases (Oracle) and tools like Toad or SQL Developer
- Familiar with Configuration Management methodologies and tools (e.g., SVN)
- Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage assignments to timely completion
- Excellent attention to detail and self-motivation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver sprint review presentations
- Knowledge of Oracle Application Express (APEX), HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and XML is a plus but not required
