Event Specialist/Administrative Assistant
-Contract length: 1 year (potential to extend or convert to perm)
-Location: Framingham, MA
-Hybrid: in office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Occasional Mondays & Fridays in office if there is an event
-Hours: Fulltime, 40 hrs/wk
-Pay: $22/hr
Our client, a well known retail and ecommerce brand is seeking an Event Specialist/Administrative Assistant to join their team! As the Admin Assistant, you would be assisting with the planning and execution of internal office events and operations. This is a one year contract with potential to convert to a permanent position after the contract. Candidates must be able to work hybrid in Framingham, MA. This is an exciting opportunity to join a large brand supporting some fun events.
Responsibilities
- Planning and execution of in-office events (such as employee appreciation events, new hire luncheons, charity events, employee awards day, etc.)
- Organize and schedule team trainings and continue
- General administrative duties
- Ad hoc tasks and special projects
Qualifications
- 1-5 years of relevant experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable handling multiple tasks at once
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
