Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and focused IT Desktop Support to join our growing law firm. As an IT Desktop Support, you will be the first point of contact for our employees and play a vital role in providing technical assistance, troubleshooting, and problem resolution. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the uninterrupted operation of our IT systems and provide exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to employee inquiries and incidents in a timely and professional manner
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of interactions and issue resolutions
- Install, configure, and update software applications, as well as assist with system updates
- Assist in setting up new user accounts, permissions, and access to various systems
- Collaborate with team members to continuously improve support processes and documentation
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to enhance your knowledge and skills
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in IT support role
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal
- Intermediate knowledge of operating systems, network protocols, and hardware components
- Familiarity with remote desktop applications and IT ticketing systems
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ or similar are a bonus
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
