We are looking for a Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of key projects for one of our clients. This role can be based in Chandler, AZ, Dallas, TX, or Atlanta, GA (Hybrid).
Pay: $60-65 per hour
Duration: 12-month contract
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing risks, ensuring compliance with standards, and providing full visibility into the health and progress of the deliverables. This role requires collaboration with multiple teams, ensuring that projects meet client expectations for functionality, quality, timelines, and cost. The Project Manager will act as an individual contributor at the program level and ensure the smooth execution of cross-functional initiatives.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7 years of experience managing technology projects using SDLC methodologies (Agile and/or Waterfall).
- Strong organizational and planning abilities, with a proven track record of leading teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership skills, capable of motivating teams and driving them toward achieving project goals.
- Strong communication skills to report project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders and executives.
- Experience managing project budgets and financials, ensuring due diligence and financial accountability.
- Ability to drive adherence to enterprise project standards, including planning, execution, controls, and audit requirements.
- Expertise in risk management, with the ability to identify and escalate risks, remove barriers, and ensure project progress.
- Proven ability to coordinate across teams for design, development, testing, and deployment phases.
- Experience partnering with testing teams to meet testing deliverables and timelines.
- Ability to create deployment readiness plans and ensure coordination of deployment activities with broader release schedules.
- Proactive in driving teams to achieve commitments and deliver results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicate project objectives clearly to all stakeholders and ensure alignment across teams.
- Coordinate delivery efforts and manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, including identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards and processes throughout the project’s execution.
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver project milestones, often requiring collaboration across multiple teams and departments.
- Provide clients with continuous visibility into project health, tracking progress against timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Facilitate synchronization points across different organizations to ensure project delivery success.
- Actively manage risks and remove roadblocks to ensure timely progress.
