AmeriQual Foods is seeking an energetic Human Resources Business Partner to provide hand-on support our manufacturing operations. This role will work closely with team members throughout the organization to foster a positive work environment, drive HR initiatives, and align HR strategies with company goals. This is an onsite, salaried position with primarily M-F, 1st shift hours.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Build meaningful work relationships with the leadership team and collaborate to assess workforce needs and develop effective solutions to promote company and personal growth.
- Oversee recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding efforts for manufacturing roles.
- Manage employee relations including coaching, professional development, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.
- Actively participate in employee engagement initiatives to enhance workforce satisfaction and retention.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulations and company policies.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of human resources experience, preferably in manufacturing setting.
- PHR/SHRM-CP certification preferred.
- Ability to lead by fostering an environment of teamwork and collaboration and act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all team members in an approachable, professional manner.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office and HRIS systems (UKG experience preferred).
- Strong problem solving, conflict resolution, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize and adapt to changing needs.
