Job Summary
The Director of Foundation Relations will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our fundraising strategy. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising plans, engaging with donors, and fostering meaningful relationships to support our mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic fundraising plan to meet organizational goals.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, sponsors, and partners.
- Oversee the planning and execution of fundraising events and campaigns.
- Prepare and present proposals, grant applications, and other fundraising materials.
- Manage and mentor a team of fundraising professionals and volunteers.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant fundraising regulations and best practices.
- Analyze and report on fundraising performance and donor engagement metrics.
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to enhance fundraising efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree or fundraising certifications preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong understanding of fundraising principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively to drive fundraising initiatives.
- Experience with donor management software and fundraising databases.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation
- $95-105k base + up to $15k annual bonus potential
