Key Responsibilities:
- The role collaborates with Supplier Management as well as Enterprise Risk, Audit, and other key stakeholders to ensure effective performance monitoring.
- Supplier Performance Monitoring:Building monitoring processes and tools to track and report on policy compliance inclusive of performance metrics, adherence to contract terms and site visits.
- Consider alternative means to evaluate supplier performance when metrics aren’t unavailable (e.g., stakeholder satisfaction).
- Document what the business is/isn’t doing from policy adherence perspective and make recommendations around what they should start doing; gain business buy-in.
- Perform analysis across all Tier 1, 2, and 3 suppliers; build roadmap to outline how work will be accomplished.
- Present analysis on Procurement policy compliance to business unit management and risk committees, as appropriate.
- Provide on-going oversight and monitoring after initial analysis is performed and recommendations implemented.
- Provide reporting to Senior Manager, Procurement Governance, and extended Procurement lead team as appropriate.
- Work cross-functionally with the Procurement teams to define monitoring requirements and recommend consult offering where appropriate.
- Develop internal monitoring procedural documents/job aids and keep current.
- Partner with Data Analytics and Reporting Manager to create, validate, and distribute reporting as needed.
- Share education or training needs of the business with Procurement Supplier Management team.
- Make recommendations to Senior Manager, Procurement Governance on procurement policy changes based on analysis collected.
- The incumbent will participate on or support special projects to support enhanced monitoring of compliance with Procurement policies.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Skills-Supplier or Vendor Performance,Procurement policies ,Compliance Management Validation.
- College degree, and 5 years related work experience
- Associate degree and 7 years related work experience, or
- High school diploma / equivalent and 8 years related work experience.
- Experience in writing or interpreting corporate policy
- Strong desire to work with data and the ability to intuitively draw conclusions, extract meaning, and make recommendations
- Intermediate to advanced level MS Excel skills; including pivot tables
- Excellent analytical skills and experience
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing monitoring processes and reporting tools
- Background in compliance, third-party risk management or supplier management
- Strong documentation skills and experience
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a deadline-driven environment
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team environment and build strong relationships
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience evaluating others’ compliance with policy and procedure, particularly related to Procurement and third-party risk processes
- Financial services industry experience
- Experience partnering with audit teams.
- HM Notes: This is an Internal audit requirement.
- He/she will be working with both business unit supplier & engagement manager.
- Will be working for Top few tiers vendors.
- Validating our procurement policies.
- Followed by suppliers and engagement managers.
- Validating their obligations.
- Third party risk & risk management knowledge.
- Making recommendations for any change in policies.
- Documenting some monitoring process and procedures.
- To identify who is compliant and who is not, and to work towards making them compliant.
- Will be also working with Data & analysis team: heling them to extract reporting data etc.
- Do not need any Power BI knowledge or experience.
- Excel skills needed.
- Focus to help the vendors, suppliers.
