The Role & Responsibilities
This is a senior management level role for my client and the opportunity to lead and join an expanding team and business who are heavily invested in within the Water, Wastewater and Engineering industries.
My client is looking for a highly motivated professional, who has a demonstrable career and experience on the full project lifecycle of Wastewater projects in the United States.
The successful candidate will oversee the continued growth of the practice, supporting project managers and directly manage the successful project delivery of both current and future projects, including oversight of project budget, scope, and schedules.
- As the Senior Project Manager/Technical Manager, you will oversee the full project lifecycle of leading Wastewater projects, from the initial business development/marketing stage, through design, planning and into the construction phase of each project.
- Actively engage, pursue, and win business development opportunities in the Florida Wastewater market.
- Mentor, develop and lead multi-disciplinary teams, helping with the career development and advancement.
- Oversee the technical delivery of multiple projects, leveraging your knowledge with local and state regulators and authorities as well working closely with external stakeholders and clients.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to standards of both the internal and external clients, undertaking responsibility for ensuring plans are in place to ensure the successful delivery.
- Work force planning overseeing the continued growth and staffing levels of the practice, engaging with internal teams to ensure staffing levels are met and sustained.
Requirements\Qualifications
- Educated with a Bachelor of Science in a related field.
- P.E Certification.
- Demonstrable experience in the full project lifecycle of Wastewater projects in the USA including planning, design, and construction.
- Demonstrable and substantial experience on Wastewater Systems, Wastewater Infrastructure, Wastewater Treatment Processes and Wastewater System Collection.
- Ability to leverage and utilise contacts and clients within the industry for successful business development and marketing opportunities.
- Knowledgeable in the local Florida market with local and state authorities and municipalities.
