Finance Manager
Our client is looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join the Finance Team. This individual will perform data and ad hoc analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and ongoing data management in support of the Finance team. The Finance & Accounting Manager will report directly to the CFO and will develop a deep understanding of the company’s various business segments and work closely with the senior-level management and private equity stakeholders.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Partner with CFO on periodic reporting of key metrics including daily operational reports and the weekly cash and liquidity forecast
- Analyze complex financial information and perform variance analysis to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to senior management for decision-making purposes.
- Drive the monthly close process including owning key journal entries and reconciliations to provide timely and accurate reporting
- Partnership with the sales team to manage the company’s business pipeline
- Collaborates with the Accounting Manager to manage factory and supplier payments from overseas
- Assists Accounting Manager with AR and AP items when needed
- Partners with IT director in NetSuite implementation and other system implementations (warehouse management, HRIS, CRM, payroll, other)
- Various reporting items for senior leadership team, including presenting analysis to several stakeholders’ company-wide
- Research and resolve various inquiries from other areas within the organization
- Identify procedural areas for improvement, perform studies, and develop recommendations for efficiencies.
- Manage and undertake special projects as assigned by the Finance leadership team.
- Assist with the development of forecast modeling, dashboards
- Collaborate with team to develop enhanced analytics
- Analyze business performance, evaluate KPIs, trends and market condition analysis
- Budgeting, profitability analysis, forecasting and improving inefficiencies
- Creating annual budget, obtaining approvals, tracking, and reporting progress
- Financial analyses explaining variances to budget and forecast along with business trends
- Compile and analyze monthly managerial reporting to senior management and owners through volume, price, and mix components for clear explanations of key business drivers.
- Maintains a deep understanding of the connection between the accounting closing process/general ledger structure and reporting.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
- Certification/advanced degree preferred (CPA, CMA, CFA, MBA)
- Five or more years of related experience preferred.
