Salesforce CRM Project Manager (Education Cloud)

Overview:
- The Salesforce CRM Project Manager will lead the implementation and optimization of Salesforce's Education Cloud within higher education settings.
- The Project Manager will manage the Salesforce CRM implementation project (Enrolment/Call Centre) scheduled for approximately Fall 2025 Go Live and beyond.
- The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, admissions, marketing, and student services, to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end management of Salesforce CRM implementations and upgrades in the Higher Education space.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, ensuring alignment with institutional objectives.
- Work with technical teams to customize and configure Salesforce CRM to meet specific needs, such as admissions, student tracking, alumni relations, and marketing.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring milestones are met and any issues are promptly addressed.
- Coordinate communication between departments and ensure transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular project status meetings, create progress reports, and escalate risks as necessary.
- Ensure data migration and integration processes are effectively planned and executed.
- Provide post-implementation support, including training and troubleshooting for users.
- Stay updated on Salesforce CRM best practices and new features, particularly in the context of higher education.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of project management experience, with at least 2 years focused on Salesforce CRM in Higher Education (Highly preferred).
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Project Management Professional) are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Education Cloud and related applications such as Pardot, Marketing Cloud, and Community Cloud.
- Proven experience in delivering large-scale CRM implementations within the Higher Education sector.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Proficiency in project management tools like Jira, Asana, or similar.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with student information systems (SIS) and integrating them with Salesforce.
- Familiarity with the higher education admission process, student lifecycle management, and alumni engagement.
- Strong understanding of data governance, privacy regulations, and compliance in higher education.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
