Legal Coordinator
Location: Century City, Los Angeles, CA
Pay: $30 to $40 per hour
Position Type: Full-time, Contract to Hire, Onsite
LHH is seeking a proactive, meticulously organized, and detail-oriented Legal Coordinator to join a dynamic legal team for our client located in Los Angeles. This role is ideal for someone with a paralegal background or a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of one year of corporate law experience.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, format, redline, and edit highly confidential agreements and correspondence.
- E-file and organize a large volume of electronic files, ensuring all relevant documents are quickly accessible.
- Utilize electronic signature and calendaring applications to ensure documents are executed,
- Conduct legal research and analysis related to corporate law.
- Assist with equity issuances, cap table updates, and equity redemptions.
- Maintain various spreadsheets, charts, and summaries.
- Understand the workflow relationships within the Office of the Chief Legal Officer and the agency at large.
Qualifications:
- Paralegal certificate.
- Minimum of one year of experience in corporate law.
- Experience with cap table management and corporate matters is strongly preferred.
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to prioritize short-term and long-term projects effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
- Experience with NetDocs (NetDocuments) and Carta or similar cap table management software.
