As an IT Infrastructure Laed, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and maintenance of client IT infrastructure. You will lead a team of onsite and remote professionals in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our network, servers, and other IT systems. Your role will involve strategic planning, project management, and collaboration with various stakeholders to meet the technology needs of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement long-term strategies for the organization's IT infrastructure to support business objectives.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions for infrastructure improvement.
- Lead and manage a team of infrastructure professionals, including system administrators, network engineers, and technicians.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.
- Oversee the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure, including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and other hardware.
- Ensure that infrastructure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with organizational standards.
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to protect the organization's IT infrastructure from cyber threats and unauthorized access.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
- Implement monitoring tools and procedures to track the performance and availability of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Identify areas for improvement and optimize infrastructure to enhance reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the resilience of critical systems and services.
- Conduct regular tests and drills to validate the effectiveness of contingency plans.
- Evaluate and select vendors for IT infrastructure products and services.
- Negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, and ensure service level agreements are met.
- Identify opportunities to optimize costs while maintaining service quality and reliability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, ITIL) are a plus.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines.
