As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to join our team as a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst.
In this role, reporting directly to the COO of Operations and working closely with the Director of Technology and Risk, you will drive innovation by developing and executing business plans that align with the company’s overall objectives. You will support operations by identifying best practices for operational efficiency and leading initiatives for business improvement.
As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you will combine data analysis and data mining responsibilities, focusing on interpreting data to provide actionable insights that support decision-making processes across various departments at AlffCo. You will gather, analyze, and interpret data to drive informed strategies for Operations, HR, Finance, and regional teams. A key focus of the role will be pricing services across all regions and markets where AlffCo operates, including both self-perform and vendor management scopes.
You will develop pricing benchmarks across the U.S., factoring in the cost of living, demographic MSA data, and service-specific rates. By interpreting this data to create nationwide pricing strategies, optimizing resource allocation, and enhancing service quoting, your insights will contribute to improved operational efficiency and business outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have strong data analysis skills, experience with performance metrics, and a solid understanding of IT systems and business structures. You will collaborate closely with Operations, HR, Finance, and regional teams to improve operational efficiency, enhance service quoting, optimize resource allocation, and
provide nationwide data-driven pricing strategies. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities are essential to provide insights that drive decision-making and operational success across AlffCo.
Essential Functions of the Role
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data from various services, including commercial landscaping, parking lot services, snow removal, pressure washing, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and construction remodel, to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Build pricing models and create benchmarks across the U.S. for each service performed, factoring in cost of living, demographic MSA, and service-specific variables.
- Regularly update pricing quotes for services based on regional data and monthly rate changes for services such as plumbing, electrical, etc.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop data-driven strategies that improve business processes, operational efficiency, and profitability.
- Conduct budget analysis and support forecasting activities, ensuring alignment with AlffCo’s financial goals.
- Develop reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost-efficiency, service quality, and project timelines.
- Analyze employee performance and productivity data to support HR in improving workforce planning, particularly in high-turnover areas.
- Provide data-driven insights to vendor management for assessing vendor performance and optimizing relationships.
- Support special projects and initiatives by delivering in-depth analysis and contributing to strategic decision-making.
- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements that drive operational efficiency and profitability.

- Perform additional duties as assigned, with some weekend and night work required.

Required Skills and Knowledge
- Strong analytical and data mining skills, with the ability to interpret large, complex data sets and present findings clearly.
- Experience in pricing strategy, creating benchmarks, and building quotes based on location-specific data.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, and strong spreadsheet-building and data-gathering skills.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and experience with CRM systems.
- Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, especially in service-based industries.
- Knowledge of property maintenance, construction processes, remodeling, reading blueprints, leads, and material costs.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, innovation, and curiosity.
Computer Skills
- Quick learning ability for new database programs, proficient navigation of communication such as basic knowledge of Salesforce and proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Teams, and SharePoint.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools, including Excel, SQL, and data visualization platforms.
- Experience in the facility maintenance or construction industry is a plus.
- Certification in data analytics or related disciplines (e.g., Microsoft Certified Data Analyst) is a plus.

- Familiarity with operational processes in a service-based business environment.
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce, with experience in CRM and project management tools.
