Overview for Assistant Manager
Provide leadership and guidance to the new Sevierville, TN team that creates a positive environment focused on customer service, maximum productivity, and profitability.
Responsibilities
Leadership
· Build effective relationships with peers and upper management while contributing to a positive team environment.
· Establish and maintain HMO’s standard of customer service by leading with a “customer comes first” attitude.
· Lead and inspire the team by being an effective role model.
· Demonstrate sound judgment in decision making based on mixture of information.
· Proactively seeks personal learning and developmental opportunities.
· Facilitates the sales floor to be covered at all times with a balanced team.
People Development
· Provide SM with support by recruiting, interviewing, developing, and retaining sales talent.
· Train and develop sales team in all areas of job function including product knowledge, customer service, and store operations.
· Recognize performance issues in a timely manner and develop effective plans for resolution.
Product Manager
· Partner in store’s execution of all merchandise processing and flow to floor.
· Keep back room organized and efficient.
· Direct and implement

-Directives
· Ensure that markdown directives are implemented accurately and in a timely manner.
· Maintain inventory accuracy.
Drive for Results
· Increase theft prevention by maintaining all operational standards.
· Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and effectiveness while ensuring that the store is inviting and hospitable.
· Maintain the physical space including light bulbs, air filters, plants, and bathrooms.
· Process and direct all cash management for the store.
· Provide leadership and guidance to the team that creates a positive environment focused on customer service, maximum productivity, and profitability.
